Haworthia Zebra (Haworthia fasciata)

The Haworthia Zebra, also known as Zebra Plant or Zebra Haworthia, is a striking succulent with unique, bold patterns that make it a standout in any plant collection. Its dark green leaves are decorated with white, horizontal stripes, resembling the stripes of a zebra, giving it its common name. This compact and low-maintenance plant is perfect for small spaces, containers, or windowsills.

Features:
🦓 Zebra-Like Stripes: The distinctive white, horizontal stripes on the thick, fleshy leaves give the plant a striking, zebra-patterned appearance.
🦓 Rosette Form: It forms a tight, symmetrical rosette, making it a visually appealing and compact succulent.
🦓 Small Size: Typically grows to about 4-6 inches in diameter, making it perfect for small containers, shelves, or as part of a succulent arrangement.
🦓 Low Maintenance: A hardy succulent that is ideal for beginners due to its ease of care and tolerance for neglect.

Care Tips:

  • Light: Place in bright, indirect sunlight for optimal growth. While it can tolerate some direct sun, too much can cause sunburn on the leaves.
  • Watering: Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry completely between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
  • Soil: Use well-draining soil, such as cactus or succulent mix, and ensure the pot has drainage holes.
  • Temperature: This succulent prefers warm conditions and should be kept away from frost.

The Haworthia Zebra is a beautiful, easy-to-care-for plant that adds a striking visual element to your home or garden. Its bold, zebra-like stripes and compact size make it a great choice for both succulent beginners and experienced collectors. Add the Haworthia Zebra to your collection and enjoy its unique beauty year-round!

Succulent Care Guide from Ramsey Succulents

1. Light:

Succulents thrive in bright, indirect light. Aim for 6 hours of sunlight daily. If growing indoors, a south-facing window works best. Rotate regularly to ensure even growth.

2. Water:

Water sparingly—typically every 2-4 weeks. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the most common cause of issues, so when in doubt, water less!

3. Soil:

Plant succulents in well-draining soil. If repotting, use cactus or succulent mix to prevent root rot.

4. Temperature:

Succulents prefer 60-80°F (15-27°C). Avoid extreme cold, as most are sensitive to frost.

5. Pot:

Make sure the pot has drainage holes. Good drainage is essential to avoid water accumulation.
